Disparities in Type of Delivery by Patient Preferred Language

Although racial and ethnic disparities are well documented in obstetrics, there few data on whether patient language is associated with pregnancy outcomes. This study analyzed the association between preferred delivery, neonatal, postpartum retrospective cohort included patients singleton gestations who delivered at our academic medical center from 4/1/2020-4/1/2021 listed English or Spanish as language.
